Amazon Web Services (AWS), in collaboration with SPARK, the PWCS education foundation, is excited to bring back Girls’ Tech Day to Northern Virginia. PWCS middle school and high school students are invited to participate.

AWS Girls’ Tech Day (PDF) aims to inspire and motivate girls and young women to develop and pursue their interests in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Students will enjoy an engaging opening session with a dynamic panel of STEAM professionals, followed by interactive workshops to explore the industry further.

When: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, (Registration check-in begins at 8 a.m.)
Where: The Hylton Center for Performing Arts, 10960 George Mason Circle, Manassas, VA

Parents or guardians should read the AWS Terms and Conditions (PDF) prior to the day of the event.

This event is complimentary to all participants. While some schools may be participating as a group, students registered individually by parents or guardians should provide their own transportation and accompany their student to the Hylton Performing Arts Center

Students wishing to attend need to register via the AWS Girls’ Tech Day registration form with help from their parent or guardian.
