Scholarship Review Committee Guidelines:
- No scholarship committee member shall be related to any applicant. Student name and school name are redacted prior to review and selection by committee.
- Scholarship awards shall be based on merit and qualifications and shall not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or disability
- SPARK scholarship committee will utilize established rubric during the selection process.
- Please note that the scholarship review committee guidelines apply only to the scholarships that are exclusively administered by SPARK.

Apple Federal Credit Union (Prince William County) Scholarship
This scholarship awards $3,000 to two (2) graduating PWCS high school seniors who intend to pursue studies in Business and/or Finance.

Career & Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship 2023
This scholarship awards $1,000 to up to three (3) students who have completed a VDOE approved CTE sequence of courses and plans to continue education through a Professional Certification program, an Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree, an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree, or a Bachelors in a field related to their CTE course studies.

Chick-fil-A (Prince William County) Scholarship
This scholarship awards $4,000 to one (1) graduating PWCS high school senior.

Dr. Edward L. Kelly Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,500 scholarships to up to three (3) graduating PWCS high school seniors who intend to pursue studies to enter the teaching profession.

Lillian M. Orlich Scholarship
This scholarship awards $2,500 to two (2) graduating high school senior at Osbourn Park High School.

Lockheed Martin Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,500 to two (2) graduating PWCS high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field. The recipients will also be eligible to apply for a Lockheed Martin paid internship opportunity.

Micron Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,500 to one (1) or more graduating PWCS high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field.

Dr. Robert L. Eichorn Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,000 to up to three (3) graduating PWCS high school seniors who have participated in a nontraditional program such as: Independence Nontraditional School, GED/ISAEP, Computer-Based Instruction (CBI), Juvenile Detention Center, or PACE West.

Woodbridge Woman’s Club Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,500 to one (1) graduating high school senior from Woodbridge Senior High School who plans to attend an accredited community college, or four-year college or university.

Woodbridge Woman’s Club CTE Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,500 to up to two (2) graduating high school senior from Woodbridge Senior High School who are currently enrolled in the Career and Technical Education tracks of Aviation or Cosmetology, and plan to further their education through a trade school, licensure program, or other program related to their CTE studies.

YES (Yorkshire Elementary School) Scholarship
This scholarship awards $5,000 to one (1) graduating high school senior that attended Yorkshire Elementary School for at least one year.

Austin Trenum Memorial Scholarship-Brentsville District High School (PDF)
This scholarship awards $1,000 to one (1) graduating high school senior at Brentsville District High School. Please contact the Brentsville District High School counseling department for application and details or download the application by clicking the link above.

David J Cobb Memorial Scholarship (PDF)
This scholarship awards $1,000 to one (1) graduate of PWCS who plans to pursue a degree in the medical field. Please follow the directions in the application packet for submitting.

Forest Park Black Alumni Scholarship
This scholarship awards $1,500 to two (2) Black graduating seniors in good standing at Forest Park High School.

Growing Our Own Scholarship (PDF)
Apple Federal Credit Union has partnered with Prince William County Schools’ Growing Our Own Teachers program to award $3,000 to three (3) graduating high school seniors who intend to pursue studies to enter the teaching profession.
The applicant must be at least one of the following:
1. Student enrolled in the Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow (VTfT) course
2. Student enrolled in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) course
3. Active participant in the high school’s Educators Rising® organization

Ryan Trexel Memorial Scholarship-Osbourn Park High School
This scholarship awards $3,000 to one (1) graduating high school senior at Osbourn Park High School. Please contact the Osbourn Park High School counseling department for further information.

Cancer Fighter Scholarship
The Student Movement Against Cancer (SMAC) will be awarding $1,000 to ten (10) graduating high school seniors (nationwide) who have been leaders in the fight against cancer. SMAC believes that "cancer fighters" can come in a number of forms. Some have battled cancer themselves. Some help a loved one or friend through their own fight. Some have been leaders in their school and community in the fight against cancer.

Dale City - Prince William County Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. Blue and Silver Community Service Trunk Scholarship
Four (4) trunk scholarships will be awarded, each with a value of over $300. The trunk will include necessities needed for a student’s first year in college such as bedding essentials, bathroom accessories, personal care items, household items, laundry supplies and class supplies. This scholarship gives Dale City Prince William County Chapter an opportunity to reward scholars for demonstrating their commitment and dedication for volunteer service in the community.Use the link above to apply or click here to use the app version.

Ira Dorsey Foundation Scholarships
The Ira Dorsey Scholarship Endowment Fund, Inc. (IDSEF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, as well as awarding scholarships to graduating high school students.
IDSEF awards three types of scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the Virginia counties of Prince William, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Stafford, and the independent cities within these counties; the District of Columbia; and Prince Georges County, Maryland
- The Traditional IDSEF Scholarship is open to any male graduating high school senior who have earned a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or better on 4.0 scale and plans to attend a four-year college or university.
- The Rainer Historically Black College or University (HBCU) Scholarship, sponsored by the Rainer’s Grace Donor Fund and LR Associates, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that provides logistics support; facilities management; program management; and security and intelligence solutions. This scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on 4.0 scale and plan to attend an accredited four-year HBCU.
- The Blackwell Cyber Scholarship is sponsored by Cytech Systems, LLC, a consulting services company based in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area that specializes in meeting demand for cutting-edge secure technology systems and infrastructure used in mission-critical environments of the Intelligence Community. This scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on 4.0 scale and plan to Information Technology oriented majors at a four-year college or university.

James W. and Leila G. Freeman Scholarship (PDF)
Must be a resident of the Northern Virginia area (Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, Stafford, Fauquier and Loudoun counties; Cities of Alexandria, Culpeper, Falls Church, Fairfax, Manassas, Manassas Park and Fredericksburg) and must have at least a 2.8 GPA and meet all criteria in the application.

Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship
The STEM Scholarship Program awards $10,000 to 200 recipients studying engineering or computer science at a 4-year college or university. Recipients may renew the scholarship up to three times for a total potential value of $40,000 per student.

Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship
Lockheed Martin will be awarding up to $5,000 to as many as 150 recipients this year. The scholarship will fund degrees at accredited vocational-technical schools to prepare students for careers in technology and/or advanced manufacturing that does not require a bachelor’s or advanced degree.

Payton's Project- Free Bullying Scholarship Application
This scholarship provides up to twenty-four (24) $1,000 awards to eligible high school Seniors, who intend to pursue studies at a higher learning institute, or to current higher learning institute students.

Prince William Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
The Prince William Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Program raises and provides funds for student scholarships of $2,500 each, to be given to graduating high school seniors who have shown a commitment to academic excellence and community involvement.
Student Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
- Current Chamber member company employee or the dependent of an employee; this includes all staff & teachers from all Prince William County, Cities of Manassas and Manassas Park schools (elementary, middle & high schools).
- Graduating high school senior with plans to enroll in an accredited community college, trade school, college or university;
- Demonstrates leadership and commitment to the community, family responsibilities, and/or employment.

2023 Annual Samuel Kwarteng Memorial ScholarshipThis award is for high school seniors attending Fairfax, Prince Williams, Alexandria, Arlington, Prince George, Montgomery County and D.C. Public Schools and may only be used at an accredited two or four-year college or university to help aid the expenses of higher education.
