The statewide Hope Bag collection project, founded by The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, is one of many ways PWCS and statewide agencies are working together to support trafficking survivors.

What are Hope Bags?

The Hope Bags are cinch sacks or backpacks that contain basic clothing items, hygiene items, and snacks. These bags allow human trafficking survivors to shower and change into clean clothes once they are recovered from their trafficking situation, and it is safe and appropriate to do so. The bags are provided by law enforcement partners that are involved in many recovery processes.
