This spring, eighteen Prince William County Public School graduates have received scholarships through SPARK and the wonderful donors that support furthering education. These exceptional students are on their way to do fabulous things, and we wish them the best of luck as they continue their education journey! 

  • Daily Davis of Brentsville High School was awarded the Ashley Blue Scholarship, a $1,000 award that recognizes a graduating student-athlete planning to continue their education at a 2 or 4-year accredited college or university.
  • Jordan Fischer of Colgan High School and Jocelyn Shaprio of Patriot High School each received the Apple Federal Credit Union Scholarship. Each awarded $3,000, this scholarship supports students pursuing studies in Business, finance, or related fields as they prepare for future leadership roles in financial services.
  • Amelia Swingle of Colgan High School earned the Dr. Edward L. Kelly Scholarship, a $1,500 award for seniors planning to enter the teaching profession and inspire the next generation of learners.
  • Ryan Hessel of Colgan High School and Hannah Jansen of Patriot High School each received the Lockheed Martin Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship, a $1,500 award recognizing students who plan to pursue careers in STEM-related fields. In addition to the scholarship, recipients are eligible to apply for a paid internship opportunity with Lockheed Martin, supporting their future studies and career development in science and technology.
  • Caroline Tribett of Gainesville High School and Luke Manning of Patriot High School were selected for the Career & Technical Education Scholarship, earning $1,000 for their successful completion of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program and their plans to further their studies through certifications, associate’s, or bachelor’s degrees related to their  CTE coursework.
  • Aklicia Ambachew of Gar-Field High School received the Woodbridge Chick-fil-A Scholarship, a $2,000 award that honors a senior who demonstrates outstanding leadership, community service, and academic achievement.
  • Janie Ntamoah and Annabella Adu-Gyamfi, both of Gar-Field High School's Culinary program, were awarded the Woodbridge Women’s Club CTE Scholarship. This scholarship supports graduating seniors enrolled in Gar-Field’s Culinary program who plan to continue their education through a trade school, licensure program, or university in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Sarah St. Louis of Hylton High School earned the Lake Ridge Chorale “Raise Your Voice” Scholarship. This award goes to a student who shows their dedication to choir, show choir, or musical theater during high school.
  • At Osbourn Park High School, Robel Wolde and Maryam Bilal each received the Lillian M. Orlich Scholarship, which provides $2,500 to outstanding seniors who exhibit academic excellence, leadership, and service to their school community.
  • The UVA Health Medical Sciences Scholarship, designed for students pursuing degrees in clinical health care, awarded $2,000 each to Zainab Soofi of Patriot High School and Amani Banks of Potomac High School.
  • Eunice Cha of Patriot High School earned the YES (Yorkshire Elementary School) Scholarship, a $5,000 award given to a student who previously attended Yorkshire Elementary and has shown promise through academics and community involvement.
  • Huy Vu of Potomac High School was awarded the Freddie L. Smith Scholarship, a prestigious $10,000 scholarship presented to one graduating senior from Potomac High School who exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, school involvement, and community service, This scholarship supports students who will continue their education at a college or university within Virginia or Washington, D.C.
